OMAHA, Neb. - The Atlantic Coast Conference is well represented on this year's AVCA All-America team announced on Wednesday at the annual American Volleyball Coaches Association Convention in Omaha. The 28th annual team features 12 student-athletes from seven of the league's 12 institutions. Clemson leads the ACC with three honorees.

ACC Player of the Year Danielle Hepburn of Clemson was given a third-team honor to carry the banner for the league. The 11 other student-athletes were named Honorable Mention All-American. Clemson placed juniors Lia Proctor and Kelsey Murphy on the team while ACC co-champion Duke posted senior Jourdan Norman and junior Rachael Moss on the squad. North Carolina, the league's other co-champion, was represented by junior Heather Brooks and ACC Defensive Specialist of the Year Brianna Eskola. Georgia Tech picked up national honors with Talisa Kellog and Callie Miller.

Three other schools had one selection to the squad. ACC Freshman of the Year Lane Carico represented Miami while Virginia Tech had Felicia Willoughby named Honorable Mention All-American. Wake Forest received one selection with Natalie Mulikin.
