Ten ACC Volleyball Student-Athletes Named CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Seven of the league's 12 institutions placed 10 student-athletes on the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Volleyball Team as selected by CoSIDA. Duke junior Rachael Moss and Virginia junior Lauren Dickson each earned first-team honors for their outstanding work in the classroom as well as on the court. Moss is a Political Science major with a 3.93 GPA while Dickson has a 3.89 GPA and is majoring in Commerce.

Four student-athletes were selected to the second team. Brianna Barry, a junior Sport Management major from Florida State, Allie Niekamp, a senior Management major from Georgia Tech, Kristen Cunningham, a senior Communication major from Virginia Tech and Natalie Mullikin, a graduate student in management at Wake Forest.

Four more student-athletes were honored on the third team. A pair of Duke seniors; Sue Carls, an art history major and Anna Wherry, a sociology major represented the Blue Devils. Taylor Williams, a sophomore Dietetics major from Florida State and Lauren Prussing, a senior sport administration major at North Carolina.
