GREENSBORO, N.C. – Florida State’s Stephanie Neville, a sophomore outside hitter from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, was selected today as the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week after leading Seminoles to consecutive 3-0 wins on the road at Virginia and Virginia Tech.

On Friday, Neville put down 12 kills in Florida State’s win over ACC leader Virginia Tech. She hit at a .375 clip and had only three errors in 24 attempts. She was only one shy of her career high of 13 kills. On Saturday night, she helped the Noles to their first road sweep of the season with a win over Virginia. Neville had 11 kills on 27 attempts for a .296 average. She also added four digs and three blocks in the win.

Florida State, 14-7 overall and 6-5 in the league, will host Wake Forest and Duke this weekend. Friday’s match against Wake Forest will start at 7 p.m. and is available on ACC Select.
