NC State's Aiwane Iboaya Named ACC Volleyball Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State's Aiwane Iboaya, a senior Middle Blocker from St. Joseph, Mo. was chosen today as the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week after a pair of solid performances to open league play for the Wolfpack.
On Friday, Iboaya was 10-for-20 on the attack in NC State's 3-1 win over Boston College. She also made seven blocks in the win, the Wolfpack's first in their last 56 league outings. On Sunday, NC State made it two-in-a-row with a 3-1 win over Maryland. Iboaya hit 13-for-17 with no errors for a .765 hitting percentage. She also made four blocks to help secure the win. Overall, Iboaya hit .541 on the weekend and averaged 2.88 kills per set.
NC State will now take to the road this weekend with a pair of North Carolina tilts. The Wolfpack will take on Wake Forest on Friday before facing Duke on Saturday in Durham. Both matches will start at 7 p.m.
