GREENSBORO, N.C. - Duke middle hitter Carrie DeMange was today selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, taking home the honor for the second time this season.

DeMange, a senior from Springboro, Ohio, led the Blue Devils last week to three impressive wins over conference teams Wake Forest, Maryland and Boston College. In Duke's 3-1 win against Maryland on Friday, DeMange registered 27 kills on just 41 attempts, good for a .585 hitting percentage. In the three matches, she posted 56 kills with an overall hitting percentage of .452, adding 43 total digs and nine blocks. For the week, she averaged 5.60 kills per game, 4.30 digs per game and 0.90 blocks per game as the Blue Devils took nine of 10 games played.

This week, Duke will head south for matches against Florida State and Miami. The Blue Devils will take on Florida State at 7:00 p.m. on Friday before heading to Miami for a noon start with the Hurricanes on Sunday.
