Three early-season tournaments and 11 Atlantic Coast Conference home matches are among the highlights of the 2007 Boston College volleyball schedule.

The team's season will begin August 24 with three games at the Delaware Invitational in Newark, N.J.

The Eagles return to Chestnut Hill to co-host the Boston College/Northeastern Invitational from August 30-31. Joining the two host teams in the five-team regional tournament are: Holy Cross, New Hampshire and Sacred Heart.

The following weekend, BC will play three games - against Michigan State, Wofford and Delaware State - in the Harvard Invitational, before kicking off its ACC schedule on September 15 at home against Maryland.

In addition to Maryland, the Eagles' 22-game league schedule features home-and-home series against Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

The team will conclude its regular-season slate on November 23 against Clemson.

Boston College finished the 2006 season with a 12-19 record, including a 10-12 mark in ACC play. Head coach Andrea Leonard returns seven letterwinners and four starters from last fall's club.
