DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke volleyball team announced its 2001 season schedule on Tuesday.

The schedule is consists of three tournaments, two non-conference matches and the regular season ACC schedule. The 2001 ACC Tournament will be held from Nov. 15-18 in Tallahassee, Fla.

The Blue Devils will head to Dallas, Texas to play in the Southern Methodist Invitational on Aug. 31st and Sept. 1st. Duke then hosts the Duke Classic on Sept. 7th and 8th. They final tournament before the ACC portion of the schedule is a trip to Madison, Wisc. on Sept. 14th and 15th for the Wisconsin Invitational.

Duke's two non-conference matchups are home contests against High Point on Sept. 4th and East Carolina on Sept. 11th.

"I think this is a very challenging schedule for us," said head coach Jolene Nagel. "We play in three great tournaments and then face the usual tough competition of the ACC."
