ATLANTA - Carla Gartner, a senior from Phoenix, Ariz., was named to the 12-member all-District III team announced Wednesday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Gartner has been a four year starter for the Yellow Jackets and was named to the all-ACC first team earlier this year. She helped lead Georgia Tech to a 22-13 record, Tech's eighth consecutive winning season. The rightside hitter led the team in kills with 421 and digs with 285 and finished second on the team in total blocks with 120. This is the second consecutive all-district honor that Gartner has received.
