Jackets Sting Eagles, 3-0

ATLANTA - Callie Miller tallied a match-best 15 kills and Chrissy DeMichelis chipped in 11 more to help Georgia Tech (19-9, 11-7 ACC) to a 3-0 sweep (25-10, 25-11, 25-21) of Boston College (7-23, 1-17 ACC) Friday night at O'Keefe Gym.

A return to Atlanta was just what the Yellow Jackets needed after losing their last three road matches, and Tech left no doubt it was out for the win. The Jackets hit a season-best .444, led by Miller's .789 hitting clip, while three other players converted kills on at least 50 percent of their swings.

  • Carico Leads Hurricanes Volleyball Past N.C. State, 3-0

Raleigh, N.C. - Hurricane freshman outside hitter Lane Carico hammered out a match-high 13 kills to lead the University of Miami Volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep over North Carolina State Friday night at venerable Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, North Carolina.
