Jackets Win Seveth-Straight Volleyball Match

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Georgia Tech volleyball team won its seventh straight match by defeating William and Mary Friday night in the Eugene Stone Memorial Invitational Tournament.

The Yellow Jackets (8-5) were led by Maja Pachale who recorded 19 kills on the night, followed by Kyleen Bell and Amanda Medrow who each added 10. Carolyn Clevenger tallied 40 assists and 14 digs in the victory.

William and Mary (4-6) was led by Laurel Witt who collected 15 kills. Defensively for the Tribe, Sarah Gubler had 18 digs.

Georgia Tech will now play in the quarterfinals of the Eugene Stone Memorial Tournament beginning Saturday.
