ATLANTA - The Georgia Tech volleyball team defeated Toledo 15-10, 15-12, and 15-7 to win the Courtyard by Marriott Classic on Saturday night.

Carla Gartner was named MVP of the tournament, after tallying 40 kills and 13 block assists in just 10 games. Freshman Maja Pachale and junior Amanda Medrow also earned all-tournament honors. Pachale had 30 kills in two matches and hit .418 for the tournament while Medrow had 29 kills and 10 aces.
