East Lansing, Mich. - Coming off its first loss of the season, the Florida State volleyball dominated the court against Big 12 opponent Kansas winning three games to one. The match brings the Seminoles to 3-1 on the season while the Jayhawks drop to 2-3.

Game four proved to be the most intense of the afternoon as the Florida State went on a 12-point streak that included six Aces by junior Mira Djuric (Belgrade, Serbia). Djuric posted nine kills with 18 points. The match point came off another Ace by senior co-captain Summer Weissing (Boca Raton, Fla.) who had 13 digs and contributed two points.

Sophomore Brianna Barry (Winter Springs, Fla.) was the only Seminole to record double-doubles with 11 kills and 15 points. Barry also led the team in block assists with six. Makini Thompson's (Quincy, Mass.) attack percentage of 0.375 topped the team as the senior put eight kills and 10 points on the board.

Despite being down going into game two, Florida State dominated in hitting percentage through remaining match and its 12-point run was the most held by either team.

The Seminoles return to the court at 7:30 p.m. to take on tournament host Michigan State and will be tracked on GameTracker by logging onto www.seminoles.com.
