ATHENS, Ga. - Ramona But of the University of Maryland lost her first-round match in the NCAA Women's Singles Tennis Championships on Monday.

But lost 6-2, 6-4 to Zsuzsanna Fodor of Mississippi State during Monday's action in the singles draw. But was the Terrapins' lone representative in the 64-player singles bracket.

The native of Timosara, Romania, finished with a 12-8 singles record this season. She also qualified for the NCAA singles draw in 2004.
