The third-ranked Duke women's tennis team won the doubles point on Friday morning and take a 1-0 lead heading in to singles action in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight. The Blue Devils received a quick 8-2 victory at the No. 3 position as the duo of Katie Granson and Katie Blaszak picked up their first victory together over Anya Loncaric and Susi Wild.

Then, the eighth-ranked tandem of Amanda Johnson and Julie DeRoo downed UCLA's Jackie Carleton and Feriel Esseghir, 8-2, to clinch the point for the Blue Devils.

The singles action will begin at approximately 11:15 a.m.
