GAINESVILLE, FL - Georgia Tech senior tennis player Jaime Wong was unable to advance and dropped a straight-set decision in the first round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Singles Championship in Gainesville, Fla. The tournament is being contested at the Ring Tennis Complex on the campus of the University of Florida.

Wong, who is the nation's 43rd-ranked singles player could not get going against Oregon's 15th-ranked Daria Panova. Panova was solid in both sets, winning the contest by matching 6-1, 6-1 scores.

Despite the loss, Wong still finishes her career as the Yellow Jackets' all-time leader in both singles (101) and doubles (82) victories, as well as singles winning percentage.
