GREENSBORO, N.C. - Atlantic Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year Angela Tincher from Virginia Tech is among a trio of All-Americans, nine All-Region honorees and 10 All-ACC performers showcased on the 2007 All-ACC Academic Softball Team, as announced Friday by Commissioner John D. The junior from Eagle Rock, Va., was instrumental in helping the Hokies capture their first-ever league regular-season and championship titles since the school joined the ACC. Maryland and NC State each received four nods, with NFCA All-American Amber Jackson highlighting the Terrapin squad.

Boston College landed three picks, while rounding out the academic contingent were North Carolina and Virginia with one student-athlete each.
