TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State's Casey Hunter came in to save the win for the Seminoles who led 5-0 going into the bottom of the seventh inning before allowing Georgia Tech to make it a close final, 5-3.

Florida State advances to the title game for the 12th time in the past thirteen years. The Seminoles will play tomorrow at 12 p.m. with two chances to claim the championship. Georgia Tech will play an elimination game tonight at 7:00 pm against the winner of game six between Maryland and Virginia.

In the second inning, Florida State's Elisa Vasquez walked and later scored on a homerun to center field hit by third baseman Lesley Palmer. It was Palmer's 5th homerun of the season. Shandra Colzie led off the sixth inning with a double down the left field line and was moved over to third base on a sacrifice fly by Tatiana George. Vasquez singled up the middle to pick up the RBI and make the score 3-0.

Florida State added two more runs to the board in the top of the seventh as Natasha Jacob scored on a ground out by George and Jessica van der Linden singled to center field to score Shandra Colzie.

Georgia Tech scored three runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to close the final gap to 5-3. Katie Donovan and Sara Wissmann each singled for the Yellow Jackets and advanced a base when Soraya Reddick was hit by a pitch. Pinch-hitter Amy Hosier reached on a fielder's choice and received an RBI as Donovan scored. Reddick scored as Felicia Coursey hit a single. Liz Bartle singled to left field scoring Hosier.

Hunter picked up her second save of the year as Florida State moves to 45-9. Georgia Tech falls to 36-22.
