AUBURN, Ala.-- It was a rollercoaster of a game Saturday afternoon as the Seminoles (34-27) took an early lead before the 10th-ranked Baylor Bears (49-12), despite committing four errors, rallied behind 11 hits and defeated Florida State, 8-5, in NCAA Softball Regional Championship play on the campus of Auburn University. The Seminoles drop to the loser's bracket and are scheduled to face the winner of the Auburn/Florida A&M contest at approximately 8:30 p.m. (ET) tonight. Live stats and audio are available.

Freshman pitcher Tiffany McDonald (14-10) took the loss after hurling 3.0 innings, giving up four runs on five hits.

For the sixth straight contest, Seminole batters Natasha Jacob (2-3), Veronica Wootson (3-4) and Brittany Osmon (1-3) powered the offense. Jacob extended her hit streak to 22 straight games.
