![]() 2007 NSCAA/adidas All-Region Honors Announced
Dec. 17, 2007 GREENSBORO, N.C. - Twenty-three women's soccer student-athletes from the Atlantic Coast Conference were represented in three different regions on the 2007 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas All-Region teams. The league dominated the Southeast region with 14 selections, including a pair by Clemson goalkeeper Ashley Phillips on both the first and third teams. Seven hailed from the Mid-Atlantic region and three more in the Northeast. Eight of the 11 ACC schools competing in women's soccer were represented, as Virginia led the conference with six total placements. North Carolina landed four regional honors, while Boston College, Florida State and Wake Forest received three apiece and Wake Forest notched a pair.
