GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest sophomore midfielder Bianca D'Agostino has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 16.

D'Agostino scored two goals and added an assist as the Demon Deacons defeated Charlotte and 21st-ranked Cal State Fullerton by 3-0 scores in last weekend's Wake Forest Nike Tournament.

Both of D'Agostino's scores were game-winning goals and the first of the Longmeadow, Mass., native's career. She added an assist in the win over Charlotte as the 14th-ranked Deacons improved to 6-1 on the year.

Wake Forest returns to action on Friday (Sept. 19) at 7 p.m., when it plays host to UNC Greensboro.
