CHARLOTTESVILLE - Rising fourth-year midfielder Sarah Huffman (Flower Mound, Texas) was named to the United States U-21 National Team for the Nordic Cup later this month in Sweden. It is the second consecutive year that Huffman has been selected to play in the Nordic Cup, as she was a member of the U.S. squad that won the tournament last summer in Iceland.

Huffman has made eight appearances for the U-21 National Team, including scoring two goals. In last year's Nordic Cup, she started all four games for the U.S. and played the full 90 minutes in three of those contests.

The United States is looking to win its seventh consecutive Nordic Cup, which is annually the most prestigious U-21 women's tournament of the year. The Americans open group play in this year's tournament on July 20 when they meet Iceland in Kristinehamn, Sweden.
