Women's Soccer Players Return From US U-20 Women's National Team

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Kelly Henderson and Gina DiMartino, two freshmen on the Boston College women's soccer team, just returned from England. The two freshmen have just finished a two-game stint in England as members of the Under-20 Women's National Soccer team.

The U-20 team defeated Leeds Ladies 3-2 on May 10. DiMartino gave the US the lead with a goal in the 74th minute of play. In the second game, the US defeated Blackburn Ladies, 2-0.

For Henderson it is her third trip with the team since February, while it was DiMartino's second stint with the team.

Henderson and DiMartino had a huge impact on the Eagles soccer team this past fall as the team advanced to the NCAA tournament for the fourth straight season and its third straight Sweet 16 appearance.
