RALEIGH, N.C. - SoccerBuzz has ranked NC State's 2005 recruiting class the 18th best in the nation. Incoming freshmen Ashleah Dingle (Hope Mills, N.C./South View HS/Fayetteville Force), Chantelle Dugas (Ontario, Canada/Eastdale Collegiate Vocational Institute/Dixie Dominators Club), Tami Krzeszewski (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep/Erie Admirals Club), Mallory Schmidt (Raleigh, N.C./Leesville Road HS/Capital Area Soccer League), Kasie Shover (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor HS/FC Delco) and Lindsay Vera (Houston, Texas/Cypress Springs HS/Texas Premier) signed national letters of intent to play for NC State beginning in the 2005 season.

The Wolfpack was ranked above Duke (22nd), Boston College (24th) and Clemson (25th). Only Virginia (3rd) and North Carolina (8th) were ranked higher among the 11 ACC schools.
