CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - To no one's great surprise the University of North Carolina tops all other colleges in the number of players on rosters during the initial year of the Women's United Soccer Association. Twenty-two former Tar Heel players are currently on WUSA rosters and Carolina has representatives on seven of the league's eight teams. The Carolina Courage, which plays its home games at UNC's Fetzer Field, leads all WUSA teams with six UNC alumnae.
