"We played well tonight," stated Duke head coach Robbie Church. "The first goal is always key; I was a little disappointed in that first goal. We had our opportunities, and we had a lot of shots. We just didn't capitalize on them." Despite allowing two goals, Helgadottir was sensational in goal for the Blue Devils and was credited with six saves. She was credited with four saves, all of the spectacular variety, in the second half. Her counterpart, Clemson's Lauren Heos, was credited with nine saves in earning her fourth shutout of the season.
