No. 25 Miami Soccer Plays to Double-Overtime Draw Versus Clemson

The No. 25 University of Miami women's soccer team played to a double-overtime 1-1 draw versus No. 24 Clemson on Senior Night at Cobb Stadium on Saturday evening. It also marked the first annual Jenna Johnson Alumni Gathering, for which the Hurricanes welcomed back former UM women's soccer players.

With the tie, Miami is now 9-4-4 overall and 4-2-2 in the ACC, moving into a tie with Wake Forest for fourth place in the league, while Clemson - who played in their seventh overtime game in its last eight outings - moved to 8-3-5 on the season and 1-2-5 in league play, tying Boston College for seventh place in the ACC.

Prior to the game, the Hurricanes honored their six seniors - Lindsay Curtin (Fairfax, Va.), Jessica Gillman (Dallas, Texas), Jenna Levenson (Boca Raton, Fla.), Lauren McAdam (Simsbury, Conn.), Akilah Moore (Evanston, Ill.) and Sheuneen Ta (London, England).

Clemson took control early in the opening half, needing just eight minutes to get on the scoreboard as Nuria Zufia took a cross from Molly Franklin and fired it into the goal to put the Tigers up 1-0.
