No. 11 Wake Forest Blanks No. 5 Florida State, 3-0
Jill Hutchinson scored a pair of goals and Amanda Barasha recorded her third straight shutout in goal to lead No. 11 Wake Forest to a 3-0 win against fifth-ranked Florida State on Thursday night at Spry Stadium.

With the win, Wake Forest improves to 10-2-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. Florida State drops to 10-2-0 and 3-1-0 in league action.

The victory marked the 199th in da Luz's head coaching career, bringing him one win away from 200. Da Luz's career record currently stands at 199-133-22, while his Wake Forest record is 154-92-20.

No. 17 Terps Tie Virginia, 2-2
A last-second goal spoiled hopes for a Maryland victory over Virginia, but the 17th-ranked Terrapin women's soccer team came away from Charlottesville, Va., with a 2-2 tie and an all-important point in the ACC standings.

The Terps now stand at 9-2-1 overall on the season and 1-2-1 in the conference, while the result puts the Wahoos at 6-3-3 overall and 1-2-1 in ACC play.

After a scoreless first half the Terps got on the board first when redshirt sophomore Mallory Baker scored her first collegiate goal in the 56th minute. A yellow card was issued to Virginia's Kika Toulouse giving Maryland a free kick. That ball rebounded out to Baker, who ripped a shot from 20 yards out.
