Clemson Women's Soccer Team Defeats Presbyterian 3-0 Wednesday Night
CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson women's soccer team defeated Presbyterian College by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday night at Riggs Field. With the win, the Tigers improved to 2-0 under first-year head coach Hershey Strosberg, while the Blue Hose fell to 0-1 on the season.
Clemson took 33 shots in the game, a figure which ranks in a tie for fourth in Clemson history for most shots in a game. Presbyterian took three shots in the contest. The Tigers also had the advantage in corner kicks, taking 10, to the Blue Hoses' zero. Sophomore Paula Pritzen improved to 2-0 in goal for Clemson, recording two saves, while Abby Young tallied 15 saves for Presbyterian.
