NC State Women's Soccer Blanks Campbell 2-0 BUIES CREEK, N.C. - The NC State women's soccer team improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 2-0 victory at Campbell Monday night. Sophomore Tanya Cain wasted little time in this match by scoring just 6:46 into the first half of play. She collected a pass from junior Nadia Aboulhosn and her left-footed shot deflected past Campbell keeper Anna Ditommaso for her first goal of the year. Kim Kern posted her second straight shutout to begin the year after a 3-0 clean sheet last Friday night against Old Dominion in the season opener. The Raleigh, N.C., native also blanked Wofford and Western Carolina last season to begin the 2008 campaign. The Wolfpack (2-0) finished with a 17-2 edge in shots.
