GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia's second varsity eight has been tabbed this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week after posting a pair of wins at the ACC-Big Ten Challenge last Saturday.

The Cavaliers' second varsity eight crew of Caitlin Mixter (coxswain), Renee Albers, Anna Samaha, Bridget Fowler, Kelsie Chaudoin, Emelia Colman-Shepherd, Augusta Stratos, Andria Haneman, and Rebecaa Ryall recorded wins over Michigan and Ohio State at Lake Monticello, Va.

In the morning race, UVa's second varsity eight finished a full 10 seconds ahead of Michigan with a winning time of 6:44.0. The Cavs came back later in the afternoon, posting a 6:52.9 time against Ohio State for their second victory of the day.

Virginia returns to action this weekend when it hosts Duke, Michigan and UCF at Lake Monticello, Va.
