Led by rising junior Becky Lillemoe, six University of North Carolina women's lacrosse players took part in the Komen N.C. Triangle Race for the Cure last month. The six Tar Heels who participated included Jamie Hanssen, Katie Brooks, Jenn Flaherty, Jess Allen, Meg Freshwater and Lillemoe, who organized her teammates who were available to partcipate in the event. The annual run was held at Meredith College in Raleigh on June 10.

The six Tar Heels enjoyed the run and all of the festivities and programs surrounding the annual race.
