CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Boston College sophomore Jenna McCabe earned 2007 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I North All-Region second-team honors, the committee announced on May 21.

Student-athletes selected to the North All-Region team are now eligible for national All-America honors, which will be announced on May 29. The IWLCA honored 128 student-athletes in Division 1with inclusion on one of eight All-Regional teams, with each of the four regions naming first and second team honors.

McCabe, a native Maine, played in 17 games and started 16 for the Eagles. She led the team in goals scored with 38 and was second in points with 45. McCabe also led the team in draw controls with 41. She scored a season-high seven points against Harvard with six goals and one assist, and also notched a hat trick against the ACC's top two teams - Maryland and Duke.

The Boston College attacker became the first Eagles lacrosse player to be named an All-ACC first-team honoree.
