The Duke University women's lacrosse team hosts Ohio State on Thursday, May 8 at 3:00 p.m. in one of eight NCAA Tournament opening round games. The fourth-ranked Blue Devils are 13-4 on the season, while Ohio State is 13-3 overall.

The Blue Devils have hosted NCAA Tournament games in each of the last five seasons, winning opening round games in four straight years heading into Thursday's contest. Duke is 4-5 all-time in NCAA Tournament games.

Thursday's contest between Duke and Ohio State will be the first meeting in women's lacrosse between the two schools. The winner of the opening round match will face the Princeton-Le Moyne winner on Sunday, May 11.
