North Carolina's Megan Bosica Earns ACC Weekly Women's Lacrosse Honor

GREENSBORO, N.C. - North Carolina's Megan Bosica has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 21. Bosica helped her then-ranked No. 8 Tar Heels to a pair of wins, including an impressive 12-7 victory over No. 5 Georgetown Saturday afternoon at Fetzer Field.

Bosica registered four goals and two assists for six points in the upset win at home. The junior from Ellicott City, Md., also gathered four ground balls, tallied four draw controls, and posted one caused turnover against the Hoyas.

Earlier in the week, Bosica scored twice and had an assist and ground ball in a 16-9 win over Old Dominion.

Carolina now ventures off to Blacksburg, Va., where it will take on Virginia Tech Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET.
