GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia's Blair Weymouth was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the period ending on Sunday, March 16. Weymouth, who participated in only one of the second-ranked Cavaliers' two games last week, led Virginia to a 16-5 league victory over seventh-ranked North Carolina.

The win marks the seventh straight home win for Virginia and improves the squad to 6-1 on the season and 2-1 in ACC contests.
Weymouth tallied four goals and three assists en route to a season-high point total (23) as a team against UNC. The goals, assists and points were all season-highs for Weymouth. She also had one ground ball in the contest.
Virginia will take a break from midweek games this week, before traveling to fourth-ranked Princeton for a 1 p.m. ET contest on Saturday, March 22.
