Boston College Defeated by Boston University 13-6
The Boston College women's lacrosse team lost to the Boston University Terriers on Wednesday afternoon 13-6 in the Under Armour "Power in Pink" game to raise awareness of breast cancer.

In a special ceremony before the game, the Eagles and Terriers presented a check to senior tri-captain Lauren Fitzpatrick and her father Dan with the funds raised from the sale of a special commemorative t-shirt in honor of Fitzpatrick's mother Joanne who passed away last fall after a long battle with the disease. The funds were donated to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer fund in Joanne's memory.

The Terriers held the Eagles scoreless in the first half with junior goaltender Rachel Klein making nine saves in the frame. The Eagles held the advantage in draw controls 4-2 and shots with 13, to the Terriers 10 but were unable to find a way past Klein in the first and BU entered the half with a 5-0 lead.
