Boston College Lacrosse Drops 19-12 Decision to Fairfield
The Boston College women's lacrosse team dropped a 19-12 decision to Fairfield University on Wednesday afternoon for their first loss of the season.
Entering the game, the Eagles stood at an undefeated 3-0 and the Stags with a 3-1 overall record.
The teams traded early goals with Fairfield netting the opening tally. The Stags jumped out to an early 3-1 lead before Lauren Costello tallied her first goal of the game to cut the lead to 3-2. Fairfield tallie five straight, before Costello and Kristin Igoe put up back-to-back goals to make it 8-4. The Stags tallied two more goals in the frame to lead 10-4 at the half.
