Kansas City, Mo. (hurricanesports.com) - University of Miami sophomore Tiffany Prats (Williston, Fla.) recorded a two-round total of 151 (72-79) to advance to match-play competition at the 2005 United States Women's Amateur Public Links Championships in Kansas City. Mo.

Prats finished tied for 53rd during stroke play competition and will face Jenny Suh (Fairfax, Va.) in the round of 64 today at 11:26 a.m. (CT). Suh finished tied for seventh (68-75--143) during stroke play.

Stroke play competition began on Monday with 144 competitors. The top 64 finishers advance to match-play competition which runs Wednesday through Saturday.

Former Hurricane Tina Miller (Miami Archbishop Curley Notre Dame) also competed this week recording a two-round total of 158. Miller, who competed at the US Women's Open last month, did not advance to match-play.
