Liz Janangelo is tied for 50th at LPGA Canadian Open

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO- Duke's Liz Janangelo turned in a two-over-par, 74, on Saturday and heads into the final round of the LPGA BMO Financial Group Canadian Women's Open in tied for 50th place at the 6,544-yard, Par 72 Legends on the Niagara, Battlefield Golf Course in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

In the third round, Janangelo collected three birdies and is at 217 with one round remaining. She owns the second-best amateur total as Paula Creamer is tied for 13th with a total of 210.

Saturday was moving day for Jean Bartholomew, a 1989 Duke graduate, as she fired a seven-under-par score of 65 and is tied for fifth. Bartholomew is only seven strokes back of leader Meg Mallon.

Former NGCA National Rookie of the Year, Beth Bauer, is tied for 33rd with a 214 and Candy Hannemann is tied for 77th with a 222.
