NORTH PLAINS, OR. - Duke University rising sophomore Liz Janangelo carded a final round 75 to finish tied 30th individually at the 58th U.S. Women's Open on Sunday and her four-day total of 296 was tied second-best among amateur golfers at the Par 71, 6,550-yard Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club.

Janangelo, a West Hartford, Conn., product, finished the weekend off with a four-over-par 75. Her total of 296 was tied with Jane Park and both were behind low amateur Aree Song (285).

Fellow Duke teammate Leigh Anne Hardin rebounded from a rough third round to fire a 74 on Sunday to finish 51st with a total of 303 (75-68-86-74).

Former Blue Devils Candy Hannemann and Beth Bauer each finished tied 35th and tied 43rd, respectively. Hannemann finished with a four-day total of 297 (75-69-73-80), while Bauer turned in a 300 (75-73-76-76).

The tournament finished Sunday with a three-way tie at 283 between Kelly Robbins, Angela Stanford and Hilary Lunke. There will be an 18-hole playoff beginning on Monday at 12:00 PM to decide the champion.
