CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, COLO.-- With only 18 holes remaining at the 60th U.S. Women's Open, Duke's Brittany Lang is only four shots off the lead at the Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colo.

A McKinney, Texas product, Lang carded an even-par 72 on Saturday and owns a three-day total of 218, which is tied for 12th. On the afternoon, Lang registered two birdies, hit 13 of 14 fairways and hit 14 of 18 greens. Among the amateurs in the event Lang owns the third-best score behind Michelle Wie and Morgan Pressel (214).

Leading the overall tournament is Pressel, Wie and Karen Stupples at 214.

Both Candy Hannemann and Jean Bartholomew each struggled throughout the day posted rounds of 80 and 81, respectively. - d - u - k - e -
