GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - Duke junior Lindy Duncan took top honors as she was named the winner of the PING NGCA National Player of the Year, winner of the Golfstat Cup, NGCA First Team All-America and a NGCA All-East Region selection. With Duncan being named the National Player of the Year, she became just the third Blue Devil to win the award – Liz Janangelo (2003-04) and Amanda Blumenherst (205-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08).

In winning the Golfstat Cup, it marked the fourth Duke golfer to win the cup and the sixth overall Blue Devil to take home the award – Jenny Chuasiriporn (1997-98), Janangelo (2003-04) and Blumenherst (2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08).
