Duke's Laetitia Beck Honored as ACC Women's Golfer of the Month for April as Presented by Chevrolet

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Duke's Laetitia Beck has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Women's April Golfer of the Month. Beck, a freshman from Caesarea, Israel, turned in a tied for third place finish with rounds of 74, 74 and 69 for total of 217 (+1), at the Liz Murphey Collegiate, played April 1-3 at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga. She closed strong as she played her final 11 holes of golf at four-under par to finish with her third round in the 60s this season as a rookie. In round two, Beck posted her team-best second eagle of the season. She now owns three top 10 finishes in seven tournaments this year. As a team, Duke finished tied for third. Nine out of 24 teams participating at the Liz Murphey were ranked.
