GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wake Forest’s Natalie Sheary and Florida State’s Maria Salinas have been named Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Co-Golfers of the Month presented by Chevrolet for February.
Wake Forest senior Natalie Sheary (West Hartford, Conn.), bookended her career at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, played February 14-16 in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., and finished second in a very strong field. Sheary made a total of eight birdies on the week.
Florida State junior Maria Salinas (Lima, Peru), tied her career best collegiate finish and earned her best finish as a Seminole as she finished in second place at the Puerto Rico Classic, played February 13-15 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Salinas earned career best scores for a single round score (69 in the third round) and three round tournament score (213 for the 54 hole event).
