Duke Takes 15-Stroke Lead Into Final Round of ACC Women's Golf Tourney

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Led by Beth Bauer, the individual leader at 144, and teammate Jenny Chuasiriporn, who is in second place at 145, the Duke women's golf team holds a commanding 15-shot lead after 36 holes at the 1999 ACC Women's Golf Championships.

Wake Forest is tied with Florida State for second place at 607, while UNC is fourth at 633.

The tournament concludes Sunday with the third round of play.

Bauer carded a 73 in the second round to stand at even-par, 71-73=144.

The tournament is being contested at the par 72, 5,950-yard layout of the Grandover East Golf Club in Greensboro, N.C.
