GREENSBORO, N.C. – Amie Survilla, a junior from Mountain Top, Pa., and Bob Dirks, a senior from Malden, Netherlands, have been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Co-Players of the Week. Survilla is a forward for the Duke Blue Devils and Dirks plays up front for the Boston College Eagles.

On Sunday, Dirks equaled the feat with a 37th minute goal to open scoring and a game-winning goal in the 67th minute to lift BC to a 2-1 win over Dartmouth. With 17 goals scored this season (1.31 per match), Dirks ranks third in the nation and second in the ACC.
The Blue Devils host their only mid-week match of the season on Tuesday against Ohio University before traveling North for a pair of weekend non-conference games against William & Mary and Old Dominion. Boston College hosts a pair of non-conference matches against Northeastern and New Hampshire this weekend. Sunday’s match against New Hampshire will be broadcast on ACC Select beginning at 3 p.m.
