GREENSBORO, N.C. - Katie O'Donnell, a sophomore from Blue Bell, Pa., has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week. A forward for now No. 1-ranked Terrapins; O'Donnell earns her second ACC Player of the Week honor of the season.

O'Donnell tallied a game-winning assist and a late insurance goal in Maryland's 4-2 win over previously No. 1-ranked Wake Forest on Saturday. On Sunday, O'Donnell doubled her goal line from a day earlier, posting two goals and an assist in the Terrapin's 7-0 win over Richmond. The Maryland forward ranks fourth in goals per game and second in points per game nationally.

O'Donnell and the Terrapins will visit No. 10 ranked Virginia on Saturday for an ACC match slated to begin at 11 a.m.
