GREENSBORO, N.C. - Susie Rowe, a senior from London, England, has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week. A back for the No. 2-ranked Terrapins, Rowe earns her first career ACC Player of the Week honor.

Rowe anchored the Terrapin defense that held No. 14-ranked American scoreless for 71 minutes and pitched a shutout in the ACC opener against No. 12-ranked Boston College. On Sunday against the Eagles, Rowe took part in over half of the five Maryland goals. She scored twice and assisted on another goal to put Maryland on top of the ACC.

Rowe and the Terrapins will visit No. 1-ranked Wake Forest on Saturday before returning home to host Richmond on Sunday.
