GREENSBORO, N.C. - Katie O'Donnell, a sophomore from Blue Bell, Pa., has been selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week. A starting forward for the newly top ranked Maryland Terrapins, O'Donnell earns her fourth career ACC Player of the Week honor.

On Friday, O'Donnell scored a career-high four goals to lift Maryland over No. 8-ranked Old Dominion, 8-1. With the performance, she tied this season's national high for goals in a match. Two days later, O'Donnell added another pair of goals to help the Terrapins to a 5-1 win over No. 9-ranked Michigan.

O'Donnell and the top ranked Terrapins will host No. 7-ranked Syracuse on Saturday before welcoming unranked Northwestern to College Park for a Sunday matinee.
