50th Anniversary Field Hockey Team Announced

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Atlantic Coast Conference 50th Anniversary Field Hockey Team was announced today by Commissioner John Swofford. The 53-member team was voted on by the five league institutions that sponsor the sport as decided by the league's 50th Anniversary Committee.

North Carolina led all league schools with 20 members on the Golden Anniversary team while Maryland was second with 16 honorees. Virginia had eight players selected, followed by Wake Forest with five and Duke with four.

The ACC's 50th Anniversary Field Hockey team, in alphabetical order, is as follows:
